The reasons of developing EPDM in our company are because its advantages for our customers as weather conditions and many air agents resistance. And  it is much cheaper than Viton®/ Silicone/ Urethane, even cheaper than Neoprene and Nitrile.

However, one limitation of EPDM is obvious. It is slightly lower than both natural rubber and polyisoprene in resilience and tensile. This can big affect on the grip and sealing ability of rubber profiles.

In order to improve EPDM rubber resilience, we have introduced Vistalon compounded with conventional types of EPDM to produce softer seals. The new products are superb for their Flexible with high grip character. Its new elastic structure bringsfast cure rate which is very useful for continuous vulcanization (CV) lines. Low shrinkage after aging is the result of its high cure state and elastic nature, this improves part quality.

Moreover, low dynamic viscosity favors flow in molding operations, reducing molding cycle time.
